When creating a blog it becomes hectic because you are unsure how to start, where to start or who will actually support you. For me it is fun and such a great way to occupy myself, but sometimes I get worried and have my insecurities. I wanted to create a strong foundation in my blog, and I thought well since my life needs a strong foundation in God then why not make my blog the same way as well. I am a loud and proud Christian and I believe the word of God and what he does for me. I love the fact that Forever 21, a highly successful fashion retail store has built it's store on John 3:16 a well known scripture. The founders make sure that the bags have John 3:16 at the bottom of each bag. Pretty clever right? Well, that is sort of what I want to do I want to leave a little body empowerment in each of my blog posts. Many people who know me closely know that I have dealt with some body image issues, but what helps me is this verse. It stands out to me because the image is so beautiful that God made me and everyone else unique and he knitted us together in each of our mother's womb. God is such an artist, and I think many people overlook that. So before you look at how society wants you to look think about who created you and took out the time to make you a unique piece of art that no one will ever fully understand.
Psalm 139:13-15New Living Translation (NLT)
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
