Met Gala 2016: Looks I Enjoyed

   The Met Gala is fashion's biggest night of the year. This is the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Costume Art Institute. Normal people can go you really just need approval from Anna the head of Vogue, but it is known for it's celebrities, costume themes, and entertainment. Unfortunately, it is quite hard to score tickets even if you are rich. Tickets are 30,000 dollars a piece and a table is 275,000 dollars, but there still might not be a chance you actually get to attend. You must get approval from Anna Wintour head of the Met Gala and editor of Vogue. There are only about 600 attendees so sorry babe you're going to be just like me dreaming that you could score a ticket to the Met Gala. Here are a few looks I thought were spot on and looked great:

Lorde:

 I loved Lorde's look because it seems as though she mixed the slip dress trend with an elegant frilly bottom.

Lupita N'yongo:

 Of course we all love Lupita I mean how could we not? That beautiful dark skin with a beautiful sea green colored dress. This look also paid tribute to Nina Simone. Nina Simone would have loved it.

Amandla Stenberg (AKA BAE):

 I absolutely adore everything this powerful young woman does. From creating her own comic book to "educating" Kylie Jenner about cultural appropriation. So when I see this chic yet retro look I can only applaud her.

Amy Schumer:

 This look inspired me because I barely saw any curvy women like me so I applaud her. This look was so elegant to me, and red is a very classic color that to me almost anyone woman could pull off.

Emma Watson:

 Such a classic dress to fit a classy woman. Emma Watson never ceases to amaze me, and her style is always on point.

Beyonce:

 This dress was nice and the one last year, but I like this one better. I personally love this dress it was actually one of my favorites. Elegant.

Gugu:

 This dress was minimalistic to me and very subtle. Instead of going all out like everyone else she chose to maintain an angelic and elegant look.

Miranda Kerr:

 The colorblock look is my fave and I thought it was great and very daring.

Solange:

 This reminded me of high fashion, and not in the over the top way, but in the fierce and daring way. Love it!

Zayn

 This was a great for the theme this year. It did remind me of Fashion meeting the future in a classy Iron man type way. Great job Zayn!

Zoey Deutch

The eyebrows, the hair, flower crown, and the flower dress. Such an elegant outfit. Frida Kahlo would be proud of the hair and brows!
